Alexandra Palace
Going to a concert there next month . Any recommendations for parking nearby ? Public transport looks a might not get us back to Victoria for last train home , depending on time concert finishes

Re: Alexandra Palace
Plenty of parking around if you’re prepared to walk 5-10 mins to and from the venue.

Alternatively aside from the buses to the station, there are 2-3 rail or tube stations within 10-15 mins walk.

You can park on the surrounding streets for free on Alexandra Park Road and Victoria Road, restrictions are 10am-12noon. Then enter the Park through the side entrance on Alexandra Park Road.

Worst venue I've ever been to for acoustics, could barely hear the music.
Just a huge long room with high ceilings.

Bus W3 runs past. Goes to Wood Green one way, Finsbury Park the other.

Alexandra Palace overground is only a 5 minute walk away.

Parking has always been possible in the roads behind the Palace but the council are bringing new Resident Parking schemes right now.

You could park and walk though. Look for roads to the north ie towards the North Circular. Depends how far they extend the Residents Parking scheme.

Failing that I will rent you the other half's car. It has an all Haringey zones parking permit. Useful for away games at Spurs too!

There are regular buses outside straight to Finsbury Park on the Victoria Line - been a few times to AP and not had problems getting back south of the river afterwards.

Saw new order there a couple of years ago.

Getting there I took the Overground to Ally Pally station.

Afterwards there are the buses to wood green tube - got back to Waterloo in plenty of time for the last train .

Might want to edge towards the exits as the encores take place

Went by tube to see supergrass just before the pandemic stuck, there is a bus service that runs to and from direct to the venue which moves nice and quickly. Can't remember the name of the station though sorry, great venue
